Kane Takes The 34th Annual Shamrock Shootout In Both Categories

March 18, 2019 – Chicago was taken by storm this past weekend when Kane Waselenchuk took both the Men’s Singles final over Rocky Carson, and the Men’s Doubles final with Ben Croft over Daniel De La Rosa and Alvaro Beltran.

Over 240 players performed in this past weekend’s event, including defending champion Andree Parrilla (who did a behind-the-scenes Instagram account takeover for the weekend) who took the court with other Top 8 players. Among the Top 8, Kane keeps the top spot after his big win in Chicago, Landa takes the 3 spot and Beltran takes 5th.

We sat down with Kane and Rocky after their showdown and both had high regards for each others’ performance. Rocky talked about the upcoming trip to the Bolivia Grand Slam and Kane told us that when he’s not on the court, he’s on the ice playing hockey.
