Andy Hawthorne Signs Two-Year Extension with Ektelon®
Bordentown, NJ – Ektelon, the leader in racquet innovations, recently announced the re-signing of Andy Hawthorne to the Ektelon Team. Hawthorne inked the two-year deal in June of this year.
“I’m proud of my long standing relationship with Ektelon,” stated Hawthorne, “Ektelon makes the best racquets in the world and I’m excited to continue to represent the brand on court and off.”
Hawthorne has played with Ektelon products since his junior years and signed with Ektelon in 2005 as he transitioned onto the IRT. Currently ranked #11, Hawthorne is known for his exciting “run and gun” style of play including precision shot making and spectacular court coverage. In addition to playing the tour, Hawthorne will continue to be the face of Ektelon at all IRT events. His job is to manage the Ektelon booth at these events and help promote the products and the sport at each pro stop. Hawthornes strong regional presence as one of the top players in the midwest region also makes him a strong asset to Team Ektelon.
