Rocky Carson Takes 11th World Outdoor Racquetball Title in 2015

WOR_Rocky_2011_byRestrungAlready one of outdoor racquetball’s most decorated players in history, HEAD Penn’s Rocky Carson captured his 11th World Outdoor Racquetball (WOR) Men’s Singles Title at the 2015 WOR Championships in sunny Southern California, held at the end of the 2014-2015 IRT Season. In addition to the 11 singles titles, Rocky holds three WOR Men’s Doubles Championship titles.

Brian Hawkes, World Outdoor Racquetball’s inaugural inductee to the WOR Hall of Fame in 2012, won the National Pro Outdoor singles title an unprecedented 20 times from 1981 to 1996. Carson will next travel to Toronto to compete for the United States in the 2015 Pan Am Games. The Pan Am Games offer competition in 36 sports for more than 5,000 athletes, making it one of the largest global sporting events behind the Olympic Games. Rocky is the 2011 Pan Am Games Men’s Singles Gold Medalist and will look to defend his title starting this Saturday in Canada.
