Waselenchuk is back on the tour this season after a two year absence. Kane is a three time number one and will be battling his way thru the qualifying rounds to get back to the top.  He has one of the most exciting game styles vertically and horizontally, that has stunned players and fans alike. He will be in a battle for number one all season. He won his fourth US OPEN title this year and also has two PRO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP titles.

Kane has started off the 2008-09 season strong winning the IRT's first grand slam event of the season in Denver at the Motorola World Racquetball Championship presented by Verizon Wireless and also the Kansas City Open and Kentucky Open.He has since followed up with a win at the New York City Pro Am.
